DCSSL Crime Prevention Wardens Applications 2024
The Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison hereby invites application for Crime Prevention Wardens, for a period of twenty-four (24) months.
Key Performance Areas:
– Patrolling crime at hot spot areas
– Do search and seizure activities in schools with the assistance of SAPS members
– Assist in stop and search operations
– Look out for any criminal suspicious activities within the community
– Eliminate all elements of crime within communities including all forms of lawlessness and vandalism
Requirements:
– A grade 10 – 12 report/certificate
– Aged between 18 – 50 years
– The person must be physically fit
– The ability to communicate in English and other official languages
– To undergo Police Clearance (normal criminal record enquiry)
– Experience and participation in crime related structures/activities will be an added advantage
– Applicants are advised to apply within their vicinity/locality.
