HEINEKEN VARIOUS JOB APPLICATIONS
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To guarantee the timely and safe delivery of the company’s product line to distributors and customers in compliance with established protocols and customer support guidelines. Along with operating company cars safely and responsibly to fulfill client orders, the Driver will also be accountable for providing outstanding customer service to all customers.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Drive corporate cars in a safe manner when collecting and delivering goods to distributors and customers.
Assemble and unload delivery vans, making sure that every item is carried securely and safely.
Make sure that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with customer specifications by adhering to predetermined delivery routes and schedules.
Assist every customer with outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing any delivery-related problems.
Keep up-to-date delivery records and paperwork, such as invoices and evidence of delivery.
Make certain that corporate cars have regular maintenance, are cleaned and fueled, and that all of this is done in an efficient and timely manner.
Respect all traffic laws and guidelines and keep a clean driving record.
Make sure the car logbook is kept up to date.
Maintain the car’s cleanliness and lack of damage.
Make sure that when loading and unloading, the burden is spread equally.
Finish the vehicle checklist to make sure the car has been inspected.
DUTIES:
Perform thorough inspections of vehicles before and after loading.
Notify the Customer Delivery office when you’re leaving.
Respect speed limits and other traffic laws at all times.
Verify the products’ quality and presentation before loading and delivering them.
When you arrive at the customer, let them know you’ve arrived and ask for permission to start offloading.
Respond to any consumer complaints in a professional manner. If necessary, forward concerns to the appropriate stakeholders for follow-up.
Follow the recommended protocol when handling accidents and problems, and submit a report within 24 hours.
Fill out log sheets and make sure all paperwork is accurate and processed by the deadline.
Help with crew management and device execution on rented cars as needed from time to time owing to volume.
Make sure that everyone is safe and that they are wearing the required personal protective equipment.
Make sure that nothing breaks during the loading and unloading process.
Complete whatever ad hoc work that your supervisor assigns you.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualification:
Grade 12 (Matric).
Current driver’s license (Code EC/PDP) for a delivery truck.
Having a commercial driver’s license is an extra benefit.
two years or more of delivery vehicle driving experience is required.
Having prior experience in the alcohol sector is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good communication skills both in writing and speaking.
The capacity to function both alone and together.
Driving techniques that are reasonable and safe.
The capacity to load and unload goods and drive delivery vehicles.
