DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT: TRAINEE PROVINCIAL INSPECTORS X100 (MUST HAVE GRADE 12): TWO YEAR CONTRACT

Upon successful completion of the Traffic Officer’s Diploma, successful candidates must be prepared to be placed at any Road Traffic Inspectorate stations across the province.

Salary: R151 884 per annum

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Code B driving license
• Clear criminal record

• Be physically fit
• Be a South African citizen
• Be under the age of 35 on the closing date of the advert.

• Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policies

Key Performance Areas

• Enforce Road Traffic, Public passenger and Transport Legislation
• Examine drivers’ licenses and motor vehicles and monitor compliance at
• Drivers License Testing Centres and Vehicle Testing Stations

• Provide visible Traffic Control / Policing and promote/ ensure crime prevention activities
• Perform all administrative duties and related duties
