The purpose of the job is to deliver excellent customer service and give customers the great experience through efficient customer service, point of sale operational activities and merchandising in store that leads to a positive customer experience.

 

 

Objectives of the Job:

– To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
– Be very accurate when scanning merchandise and processing payments for items purchased, the till.
– Ensure that the cash is handled safely at all times.
– Promote the Clicks’ clubcard to customers and recruite new clubcard members  to achieve the clubcard participation targets.
– Inform customers of promotions in order to positively affect sales and to ensure customers.
– Act as a brand ambassador, offer friendly and professional service customer service.
– Maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
– To support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving the company values.
– You must have knowledge about the products, ranges, promotions and events so that you can be able  to provide the correct information to customers at all times.

YOU MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING:

– Basic numeracy skills
– Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
– Understanding of stock management procedures
– Knowledge of what excellent customer service means

– Experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment

REQUIREMENTS-EDUCATION:
– Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%
