The Department Community Safety and Transport Management invites applications for the Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership which seeks to capacitate unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in Traffic Law Enforcement.
Details of the Learnership Programme are as follows:

REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE LEARNESHIP:
- Applicants must be unemployed and between the ages of 18 & 35
- Grade 12 Certificate/National Certificate (vocational)
- Security Clearance from SAPS
- Attach medical report indicating that the applicant is fit to do strenuous exercise/training
- A valid driver’s Licence
NB: applicabts should have no visible Tatoos
Stipend: R3000 Per Month
Please note that, applicants who have been in a Learnership programme previously within the Public Service will not be considered for the learnership.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATIONS:
– Applications must be in a signed Z83 application form and accompanied by a recent updated comprehensive CV with names of at least three referees, originally certified copies of matric certificate/Grade 12, ID copy, the required Driving License, and Security Clearance from SAPS/Police Station. Should you fail to submit the requested documents, your application will not be considered.
– All qualifications will undergo verification. Applicants who have foreign qualification must provide the Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
– Candidates must indicate the number of the post/reference number in their applications.
– Candidates requiring additional information regarding an advertised post, must direct their enquiries to Mr Moshito Malotane
– Applications should be forwarded in time to the department since applications received after the closing date indicated below will as a rule not be accepted. Faxed and emailed applications are not accepted.
– It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department.
– The Department reserves the right not to make appointments and correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only.
