PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a flight attendant you need to have a vibrant personality, be able to adapt to any situation and make people feel to feel comfortable. These are one of the characteristics we are looking for in our Flight Attendants. As the Flight attendant you are the face of Emirates, therefore when the customers need help and direction you will be the person the customers ask. This is the reason why you need to always be friendly, and be able to provide help when needed.
By being a part of the Cabin Crew members mean that you are also responsible for the aircraft services, safety and security procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

Here are some other things we look for in our cabin crew:

– You must have Grade 12/Matric Certificate
– You have a positive attitude and and be able to deliver excellent customer service, whether you are working as a team, working with people from different cultures.
– You must have at least one year experience within the customer service or hospitality industry.
– You must be fluent in written and spoken English (being bilingual is an advantage)
– You must be at least 160 cm tall and can reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, so that you can be able to get to emergency equipment on any aircraft types when needed.
– There must be no tattoos showing while you are wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform.
– When working for Emirates as Cabin Crew, you will be living in Dubai and you will need to meet the visa requirements for the United Arab Emirate.

Apart from the  role requirements, you must always show enthusiasm to always perform the highest standards, focus on finding solutions and manage demanding work schedule. You must be able to provide customers with excellent customer service.

ON RECRUITMENT DAY:

• The recruitment team will provide an introduction of the role as a Cabin Crew to help you understand your responsibilities while working with Emirates and life in Dubai as a Cabin Crew.
• You will be required to do group assessments and complete an online test.
• You will then undergo an interview to see if you are suitable for the position as a Cabin Crew.

If you succeed in all the stages of the recruitment process, you will need to provide the following documents for your application to be considered. You must have these documents scanned and saved in your mobile device so that when they are requested on the day you can be able to provide them.

• Recent updated CV in English
• Valid ID or passport copy
• Copy of Grade 12/Matric certificate
