EXAMINATION ASSISTANTS TEMPORARY POSITIONS 2024

Applications are invited from Second, Third, or Fourth-year students enrolled in tertiary institutions (colleges, technikons, and universities) for the position of Temporary Examination Assistants for the examination session from September 2024 to August 2025.
Criteria for Selection:
– Students in their second, third, or fourth year at a tertiary institution.
– Unemployed matriculants may apply but will be utilized based on need, with preference given to those studying towards a teaching qualification.
– Only students residing in the Northern Cape Province will be considered, and proof of residential address (Municipality account) must be attached to all applications.
– Northern Cape students studying outside the province will also be considered.
– Applicants with relatives registered for any of the examinations must fully disclose this information.
– Applicants must be willing to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays, and be prepared to work under surveillance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Checking answer scripts/portfolios.
– Hash totaling of marks.
– Data capturing.
– Sorting and packing scripts/portfolios.
– Removing scripts/portfolios from the marking/moderation center.
– Performing any other duties assigned by the Administrative Manager.
Requirements:
Applications must be submitted on the prescribed application form NCED – EAT /2024/25, obtainable from Head Office, and or District Offices and should be accompanied by certified copies of:
ID document
National Senior Certificate
Proof of Student status (Tertiary Qualifications)
Proof of residential address
