In order to draw consumers and increase sales, a merchandiser must ensure that a store’s shelves are stocked with the appropriate goods, that they look beautiful, and that their prices are reasonable. Consider it as enhancing the store’s appearance and boosting product sales.
In order to be considered for the employment, you will need to have your own smartphone. You will be required to submit copies of your Matric Certificate, ID, SARS Letter and Bank Confirmation Letter when shortlisted, please note no one will reach out over social media to request your personal documents. Key Performance Areas:
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
Count the stock, decide what needs to be merchandised, and record it.
Unpack supplies and make notes about what you’ve gotten.
Arrange and showcase items to draw in clients, and ensure that every line is visible.
Maintain thorough records of all stock utilized, and keep an eye on stock levels at all times.
Modify displays to reflect what we have or to highlight
Adhere to the plans and display rules.
Utilize original concepts to draw clients’ attention. Make seasonal or promotional displays.
Examine the products’ quality and report any damage.
Stock shelves, keep an eye on what’s available, and make sure that new products are piled and displayed and that outdated or defective ones are eliminated.
Decide what to sell and in what quantity.
Collaborate with various teams, such as the sales and marketing departments.
Enhance exhibits using color, lighting, props, and decorations.
Make plans for the store’s appearance and design advertisements and signs.
Preserve order and cleanliness in all areas, including the store room.
Product indicator (PI) labels and price stickers’ accuracy
Provide consumers with product usage advice and respond to any concerns, questions, or requests.
