SALARY : R183 279.per annum
REQUIREMENTS:
– Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate or equivalent.
– Good interpersonal and communication skills.
– Basic computer literacy skills.
– Experience in data capturing or information systems is an advantage.
Skills Profile:
– Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSAccess).
– Knowledge of customer care relations.
– Understanding of minimum information standards and data collection.
– Familiarity with DHIS or other public health information systems.
– Ability to work under pressure.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
– Collect data according to the National Indicator Data Set (NIDS) using standard definitions and tools.
– Ensure the use of standard data recording registers/tools.
– Adhere to the National Information Management Policy.
– Verify that all facility data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
– Report facility monthly data to districts on time (e.g., Tier.Net dispatch files).
– Ensure monthly input forms match source documents (e.g., registers).
– Maintain proper file organization in health care facilities.
– Capture data into systems like WebDHIS, Tier.Net, EDRweb, and other patient management systems.
– Conduct validation and data integrity checks to ensure quality.
– Perform regular data quality audits and participate in external audit activities.
– Export data according to Provincial data flow procedures.
– Prepare and update monthly graphs on key indicators.
– Create monthly reports on key indicators and targets for facility meetings.
– Provide feedback on data quality to staff involved in data collection (monthly).
– Perform administrative/clerical duties as required.
