Early Childhood Development NQF 4 Learnership
Contract length: 12 months
Stipend: R5 500,00 per month
We are seeking someone who is motivated and committed to take part in a 12 month learnership where you would be based at a hospital through an NGO that deals with children living with life threatening illnesses. Successful candidate will be spending time with these children in the hospital.
This is a full time learnership and successful candidate will qualify with an Early Childhood Development NQF4.
About the application process for a certificate in early childhood development (ECD)
Do you oversee an early childhood development (ECD) facility and wish to offer learning and assistance that is suitable for the developmental stage, age, and requirements of the kids you look after, including the kids with special needs, disabilities, and chronic illnesses? Applying for an ECD program certificate can be done at the Department of Social Development or municipal office that is closest to you. The maximum duration for which your application may be approved is five years.
In order to evaluate your application, your ECD program needs to:
Offer suitable chances for developmentbe intended to assist kids in realizing their greatest potential.
Providing productive child care as well as security and support.
Make sure that constructive social behavior developsaccommodate each child’s needs for emotional, cognitive, sensory, spiritual, moral, physical, social, and communicative development.
Honor and foster each child’s culture, spirit, dignity, individuality, and language.
You have to:
Be appropriate and suitable.
Possess the necessary ECD training, abilities, and certificationpossess at least three years of experience working in the field of early childhood development.

About the application procedure for an early childhood development (ECD) certificate:
Are you in charge of an early childhood development (ECD) facility and would you like to provide instruction and support that is appropriate for the age, developmental stage, and needs of the children you care for including those who have special needs, impairments, or long-term illnesses? You can apply for a certificate of completion of the ECD program at the local municipal office or Department of Social Development. Your application may be accepted for up to five years at the most.
