SAGDA UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES TRAINING PROGRAMME
South African Graduates Development Association (SAGDA)
The primary goal of SAGDA, a non-profit organization, is to provide recent graduates with the skills they need to succeed in the workforce and enable them to take an active role in both the domestic and global economy.
SAGDA has impacted public policy and is highly sought after for its advise by organizations including the Department of Trade and Industry, the National Youth Development Agency, the Department of Public Service and Administration, and the Presidency. We introduced a new organizational strategy and established a new vision/mission in November 2010 with the goal of navigating the graduate empowerment trajectory through research, partnerships that make sense, and outreach to rural and remote places.
Through a variety of high-impact programmes, SAGDA collaborates with public and private universities, FET colleges, Sector Education & Training Authorities, and municipalities to support graduate empowerment.

According to our data, these programs are successful in closing the knowledge gap between formal schooling and the workforce. They also give graduates the chance to network with potential employers in the future.
